Frequently asked questions

Why should I hire a professional to clean my Driveway or Patio?

We often get calls to fix DIY pressure jobs carried out by the customers themselves or fix work caused by other companies that carried out poor quality work. There is a lot more to pressure washing patios & driveways than buying a jet wash and blasting everything in sight. Without the correct understanding of chemicals or sealant that are best to use, the type of surface you are cleaning, and the pressure needed to clean it effectively without damaging it. This may result in causing damage that will be considerably more costly to rectify than hiring a professional like Herts Power washing from the get-go.

Are any chemicals used child & pet safe?

Yes, we aim to use eco-friendly or "green" products where ever possible. The surface we are cleaning dictates what product will be used. In most cases, we don't need to result to utilising chemicals as our petrol-powered commercial jet wash is designed to clean almost any surface.

How often should I have my Gutters cleaned?

It's recommend that you have your guttering cleaned twice per year. Once in late autumn and once in late spring.
